Details of Key Updates
Score & Setlist Sharing (.scorepdf)
You can now share and import not only PDF scores, but also annotations, page order, bookmarks, and various settings together in a single file (.scorepdf).
Sharing is available from the score viewer menu, the Home screen item menu, or in batch via multi-select. When sharing or importing, you can also selectively exclude unwanted data under “Clear / Reset Data”.
To import, tap “+ New” → “Import Shared Data (.scorepdf)” at the bottom right of the Home screen, or open a .scorepdf file directly in ScorePDF from your Files app, cloud storage, or other apps.
Along with this update, we have removed the setlist creation limit (previously 3 or more required Pro), allowing unlimited setlists in the free version.
Deleting Scores with a Setlist
By checking “Also delete scores in the setlist” in the confirmation dialog when deleting a setlist, you can now delete the scores inside the setlist all at once (scores that are also included in other setlists will not be deleted).
Local Layer Bug Fix
Previously, annotations on the “Local Layer (this page only)” were managed separately depending on whether a score was opened from the score list or from a setlist, causing them not to appear when opened from the other screen.
With this fix, local layer annotations are now consistently preserved and displayed regardless of where the score is opened, as well as when duplicating scores or reordering pages (existing annotations will also be automatically merged upon launching the app after this update).
Page Rotation
- Added page rotation feature (you can rotate pages in 90-degree increments from the “Reorder & Rotate Pages” screen).
- Improved the page reorder screen layout, allowing you to drag the divider to adjust the preview size.
Setlist Editing Improvements
Improved the setlist editing screen, allowing you to drag the divider to adjust the pane sizes and making it easier to add and remove songs.
Auto Scroll / Page Turn
Added Auto Scroll / Page Turn feature.
You can also calculate the duration for each page based on the tempo, beats, and the number of measures.
Additionally, by setting the base position, you can configure which part of the screen acts as the reference for continuous scrolling. For page turn mode, you can set the timing to turn the page based on how much of the next section has been played (this is disabled in modes where the entire screen is turned at once, such as 1 Page view).
Furthermore, it is also possible to sync it with the metronome.
Additional Page Layout Settings
- Added “In-place” as a page turning method for “2 Page” in Page Layout.
- Added “Slide” as a page turning method for “Half Page” in Page Layout.
- In Page Layout, you can now set Scroll Margin in the Detail Settings of Scroll (“Fit Width”, “Fit Height”).
Local Layer
Added a local layer feature to annotations. Even if you duplicate the same page in Reorder Pages, you can add unique annotations to each page using local layers.
Also, to make the current layer (Draw mode/Symbols mode, Common layer/Local layer) easier to distinguish, layers other than the current one will become translucent while annotating.
Additionally, you can now display a PDF preview on half of the screen in Reorder Pages.
Text Line Height
You can now set the line height of text.
You can also save this setting in your presets.
Duration
You can now set the duration for each score in its info.
In setlists, you can share the track order and durations as text from the info dialog.
