Details of Key Updates
Annotation Function
You can use the annotation functionality by pressing the pen icon in the upper right corner of the menu.
(You can also assign the annotation functionality to tapping the top edge or long-pressing.)
By pressing and dragging the icon (①) up or down, you can move this annotation menu up and down.
Icons ②, ③, and ④ are pens, icon ⑤ is an eraser, and icon ⑥ is for zoom and page operations. When you tap icons ② to ⑥ again while they are selected, a detailed menu will be displayed.
(Currently, you cannot perform zoom operations while icons ② to ⑤ are selected. To perform zoom operations, you need to switch to icon ⑥. This will be improved in future updates.)
Icon ⑦ is the eyedropper tool. By long-pressing and aligning it with the color you want to apply, the color of the selected pen will change to that color.
Icons ⑧ and ⑨ are undo and redo.
Pressing icon ⑩ will exit the annotation mode.
When using icons ⑤, ⑧, and ⑨ for deleting, undoing, or redoing annotations, if the page layout is set to two pages or horizontal scroll, the most recently edited page will be prioritized for processing.
Function to Select Operations by Tapping the Top Edge or Long-pressing
From the settings screen, you can select the operation for tapping the top edge or long-pressing from:
- Display menu bar
- Annotation
- Disabled
Note that at least one must be set to “Display menu bar."
Duplicate Function
In the sheet music list screen, pressing the menu on the right and selecting “Duplicate" will duplicate the sheet music.
It is recommended to use this feature when you want to separate by movement or piece.
With this update, even if you add files with the same name, they will be saved separately instead of being overwritten. Using this duplication feature can help you save storage space.
Prevent Overwriting when Adding Files
Previously, if a file with the same name as one already saved in this sheet music app was added, it would be overwritten to save storage space.
However, with the introduction of the duplication feature, files are now saved separately instead of being overwritten when added.
(To save files separately, the current date and time are added to the end of the file name when saving.)
